If you are concerned about not being able to fully enjoy your special day to the fullest, I have 3 tips to share with you to help you overcome this.

As a wedding photographer of 5+ years I have seen and experienced a lot of different weddings… and even though each wedding is unique, my advice has been consistent for each of them and it makes a world of difference at the end of the day. So let’s Fully Enjoy Your Wedding Day, yes?

Top 3 Tips for Brides and Grooms to FULLY enjoy their wedding day!

1. To Fully Enjoy your Wedding day: Be Prepared

Being well prepared sets the tone for your day! You are more likely to fully enjoy yourself and remove any unnecessary stress by preparing ahead of time.

This includes;

– Make sure that you have everything you need the night before the big day; dress, veil, rings, shoes, jewelry, invitation suite, robe/pjs, perfume etc (place all these items in a box for your photographer)

– Steaming your dress the night before

– Getting at least 6-8 hours of sleep

– Making sure your Bridal Party is aware of the timeline

– Self care; shower, face routine, journaling, water etc

– Eating a good Breakfast and Lunch

2. To fully enjoy your Wedding day: Let go of things out of your Control

When all of these things are taken care of, this will set the tone for your wedding day. Making it stress-FREE and relaxing, allowing you to enjoy your day!

Remember the only thing you can control is your attitude and how you react to situations.

This is going to truly allow you to remember the best parts about your day and you will fully be able to relax and enjoy yourself.

You cannot control:

If your dress gets dirty

If someone doesn’t show up

someone’s attitude or actions

people being too late or too early

List can go on and on. DO NOT sweat the small stuff and brush off all the things outside of your control!

Let your Wedding Planner handle any mishaps for you, that is what you hired them for!

3. To Fully Enjoy your Wedding day: Be fully present

Truly being present is the best thing you can do to have an enjoyable day with your Husband and Family and friends!

Put away your phone and breath in and out remembering the sounds, the smells, the laughter, the joyful tears, the hugs, the kisses, and celebrate however you want to with the love if your life!
